What services do you offer?
We offer translation, editing, proofreading and
transcription services.
What languages do you work with?
We translate from and into the following languages:
almost 40 languages.
How do I send you the source text?
Normally, we receive the source material
via e-mail at service@sinosenior.com. If you prefer, you may
fax it to us instead at +86-532-83026139
How will you send the translation back?
Most often, we send the translations in
electronic format. We are able to send the jobs in a large
number of formats. We can also send you a hard copy via fax,
postal mail, or by courier service. The choice is yours.
What do you charge?
Our rates depend on the difficulty of the
material and the size of the job. Obviously, technical
content is more difficult than business correspondence. On
the other hand, we offer discounts according to volume.
Therefore, for large volumes of text, we can negotiate lower
prices. Please contact us at service@sinosenior.com with the
details of your project and we will be happy to give you a
specific cost quotation.
How can I pay you?
You may pay us by check, money order,
credit card, or bank wire transfer in any major currency,
including US dollars, British pounds, Euros, Japanese yens,
or Canadian dollars. For more information, please contact us
at service@sinosenior.com
Can you translate everything?
The complexity of the texts we handle
ranges from simple texts written with basic or colloquial
vocabulary, to technical or scientific manuals and texts
with specialized terminology. In the latter case, we may use
our own or the client’s glossaries, or we may create a new
glossary for the job or series of jobs. We also have the
technical expertise to handle website and database
translations. The personnel associated with our company,
either full-time or part-time, range from literary and
technical translators to writers and computer experts. We
have done nearly all types of translation imaginable, and we
can honestly say that all our clients have been satisfied
with our work. We also have individuals highly knowledgeable
in computer technology working with us. We are therefore
capable of translating most types of material to the highest
standards. If, however, we receive an order that we believe
we are not capable of filling to our usual standards, we
inform the client and suggest that they take the job to
someone else.
How do you assure quality?
Our quality control process has a number
of aspects, including:
-
Our staff members have native or
near-native knowledge of the languages they work with.
-
While jobs are being done, there is
continuous dialog back and forth between our translators
and technical personnel, so that the linguistic and
technical sides of each job are analyzed simultaneously.
