Background and participation
The project sits within an overseas-market support programme for games in the Jeonbuk region of South Korea. Its published scope includes translation, localization and regional adaptation. SENIOR TRANS participated in related language-service work. This was an industry-support programme, not a public tender award.
The language challenge
Game text spans dialogue, interfaces, help content and live operations. A line can mean different things without its context, while character voices must remain coherent across releases.
An approach shaped by the content
The following is an approach for comparable projects, provided to help scope a brief. It is not a record of this engagement’s internal delivery process.
Establish the context
Group strings by purpose and gather character notes, screenshots, variable rules and length limits. Resolve ambiguities that could change the player’s understanding.
Align terms and character voices
Create terminology for abilities, items and UI elements. Distinguish dialogue from instructions so that each has the right voice and level of clarity.
Review in context
Use a test build to check truncation, variables, line breaks and context. Record issues precisely for review by the development and language teams.
What the public record establishes
The public notice establishes the programme’s purpose and scope, but does not provide game-release results or a translation acceptance finding that can be cited here. No sales uplift, ratings improvement or acceptance rate is claimed.
Suggested delivery checks for a comparable project
