Inventory the content before prioritizing
List pages, products, downloads and dynamic components, marking what needs translation, adaptation or retention. Key products, contact details and enquiry routes often deserve early attention, but priorities should follow the business goals.
Localize the details
Check forms of address, addresses, telephone numbers, currencies and units for the target country, not only the language. Titles and summaries should describe the page accurately; alternative text should explain the image rather than repeat keywords.
Review the rendered pages
Check usable menus, untruncated buttons, complete form messages and links to the correct language. Review both mobile and desktop layouts and follow dynamic workflows. Important text should not exist only inside images or behind a login.

A common question
Does an English site cover every international market?
Not necessarily. Customer language, regional conventions and sales channels determine whether local-language content is needed and which pages to prioritize.
