Background and participation
This case relates to Sansure Biotech’s 2021–2022 language-services project. A supplier retrospective dates the agreement to 15 June 2021 and describes multilingual services. SENIOR TRANS participated in related work. The retrospective’s publication date is distinguished from the start of the engagement.
The language challenge
Life-sciences content requires precise treatment of terminology, abbreviations and data. Information about the same product may appear across several documents and languages, so fluency in one file is not enough.
An approach shaped by the content
The following is an approach for comparable projects, provided to help scope a brief. It is not a record of this engagement’s internal delivery process.
Confirm purpose and reference versions
Establish the intended audience and use. Check product names, reference translations and approved versions, and identify who will resolve specialist questions.
Apply specialist language review
Review terminology, figures, units, abbreviations and consistency. Do not add performance claims or intended uses that are absent from the source.
Keep revision decisions traceable
Record linguistic comments, technical decisions and formatting changes separately. Check that each approved update reaches the relevant language versions.
What the public record establishes
The retrospective describes procurement and contracting, but does not provide acceptance evidence for SENIOR TRANS work packages or regulatory approval. Translation delivery is not equated with product authorization, certification or commercial results.
